Playoffs? Who Said Anything About Playoffs? Well We Did…About Fantasy Anyway!
As the fantasy football playoffs creep closer, every roster move starts to feel a little heavier. This is the part of the season where managers either play scared… or take the swing that wins them the whole thing. Everyone has their own opinions on “value,” “league-winners,” and what a “fair trade” actually is — but here are a few of the strongest Sells and Buys for the stretch run.
SELL
Drake London
Why Sell: The talent is obvious, but the situation is… well, the situation. Atlanta’s passing volume has been all over the place, and consistency is basically nonexistent. With Kirk Cousins at the helm, this season is likely only downhill from here.
Rico Dowdle
Why Sell: He’s had flashes, but his value is inflated from spot usage and hype. Unless Chuba Hubbard disappears, Dowdle’s ceiling is capped. Move him now to a manager desperate for RB depth before that window narrows.
Travis Kelce
Why Sell: Kelce has had a shockingly good season, however if there is a time to use his name and production this year for value, that would be now. If you can trade him for one or two starters that will help carry you through the playoffs, I’d do it.
BUY
Tyler Warren
Why Buy: One of the sneakiest emerging TE options. His role has grown steadily, and with tight end being a wasteland for half the league, getting a rising player before the breakout hits is how you win playoff weeks.
Ashton Jeanty
Why Buy: He’s electric whenever he touches the ball. If your league format includes him or you’re in a keeper/dynasty setup, Jeanty is the exact kind of late-season swing that turns into next year’s steal.
Quinshon Judkins
Why Buy: Like Jeanty, Judkins is a bet on talent and trajectory. If you can bring in a young RB who could explode down the stretch or become a long-term asset, take that shot before everyone else realizes what’s coming. With Shedeur starting and showing life, Judkins Touchdown rate will only increase.
Justin Jefferson
Why Buy: Yes, his manager might be frustrated. And yes — this is EXACTLY the type of player you buy before playoffs. If he heats up at the right time, he alone can swing a championship.
While your leaguemates are staring at the waiver wire hoping for a miracle, this is your moment to strike. Remember: only one team wins. Your chances are slim if you just play it safe — so take the shot, make the bold move, and go all-in.
